guard duty on a saturday. supposed to book out on a thursday nite, and back in again on a friday nite. but friday morning got ippt and afternoon the army open house shit. so booked out onli at 4.30pm on friday. reached home at 530pm... booked in again at 1015pm that same day. Booked out this morning at 845am. reached home at 1030am.. hmm.. had a nice peranakan lunch with mum and dice.. den went for wayang back massage. prepare for 24 km route march on wed. later will be bookin in at 745pm. brother took the car so the cab is coming here at 645.. now onli left one more hour.. oh well. wad a short weekend i have.. oh well. i heard its the last guard duty before we pop alr. then the rest have to come back to complete during their block leave. hahaha.. convince myself i did the right thing.

anyway.. guard duty at rocky hill is tiring.but slack. work 2 hours. rest 4 hours. repeat this 4 times from 8am sat to 645am sunday. yup. hmm.. i'll be POP-ing soon alr!!

played soccer for the 1st time with my platoon. played against our sir, jasper's team. played centre back for first half. 10 mins in 2nd half went to join favian they all in yishun alr. reach there just in time. they just started playing. but i was alr too tired to continue. only play 1.5 match only. do the usuals. have lunch n back. suppose to accompany my dale to have her simcard changed. due to time constraint, unable to lah.

yesterday haz pangseh me. supposed to go jam at 1 am. but at 10pm he decided nt to come. hanyuan say nvm. meet me for supper later. then he overslpt. then waited until 2 plus at mindice's place n went home to slp before going for soccer.

go take my medicine first. having a bit of cold now... ok la thats all for now. i going to leave soon. blog again next fri when i book out. might be sat if i kana RT.

yeah.. field camp over.. im kinda relieved that's over and done with.. yeah! all the mud and soil everyday.. not being able to bathe for 6 days.. didn't brush my teeth for 6 days.. eating from little green packets.. shitting in the open with SBO, ET stick and rifle.. oh man.. so glad im back in civilisation.. i miss my bed..miss my family.. miss my gf the most.. she was all i was thinking about and all that pushed me to continue during the field camp.. many times i felt like falling out.. but i keep thinking of the thought of not letting her down.. living up to her expectations. haha. being the onli combat fit soldier in my family.. i'll have a normal POP!! though i expect to haave some sort of downgrade after BMT.. think im allergic to the rifle oil or something., always get rashes after cleaning the rifle.. not too sure though.. gotta go for some test soon...

Field camp is over.. next weekend is SIT test... another 3 days outfield.. nah.. 2 nights onli.. with basha tent somemore.. shouldn't be much of a problem.. i think. i dun intend to go to command sch anw.

ANYWAY.. enough of the NS talk.. kinda sick of it alr. just now was at dinner with the e4 boys.. some of us just couldn't stop talking bout NS.. or refering to NS related jokes.. think we should be a little more considerate to our gf's and non-NS friends next time we go out to eat.. yeah. could sense their boredom and disinterest.. im bored and not interested too..

couldn't decide where to go after our Dinner at safra yishun ( spend more than 100 bucks and get 50% off ala carte items..). So stood around GV. few guys helped the bubble shop auntie repair some plug that was sparkling sparks of electricity.. den drove the tuck juliet home. let favian feel around with my dad's car for awhille.. hahah. still abit newbified.. but should b able to pass Tp on first try de la.. just needa gain confidence..

ok next week is field camp.. another weekend of confinement.. den after 1 weekend of book out and in.. another 3 days in camp den book out for another night for national day. following that is another weekend of confinement for my sit test.. haha.

so far. i think SOC is not gonna be easy for me.. esp the ones which require lots of arm power.. then there's the ones with the psychological barriers.. like that zigzag log thing.. 2m high.. quite scary getting up there for me. think i'm slightly afraid of heights.

ippt cat test.. tremendous improvement for 2.4km run.. from a timing of 15.11 i improved to 11.15 or somewhere around there.. haha.. SBJ still horrible. pull up still zero.. omg. over a month and still zero. gotta do something about it.

oh well.. expect to see me lose weight during field camp.

ok la. have to leave alr. gotta go for dinner den go back to pasir ris int by 8pm later. sienz. at least this time i'm booking in with 24 x 5 packets of hello pandas. hahaha.. that's 120 packets.. hahaha.

went to see a doc yesterday.. kelvin.. gave me excuse uniform for 4 days.. till field camp so my wound on my knee can heal and the rashes from rolling around in the mud will subside. hope my flu gets better before that too. oh well. gotta tahan another 1++ months and it'll be over. haha. so far so good la. better than i expected?

range was fun.. no IA occurance. Heng ah. day shoot only missed two targets from proning.. the rest all shot.. no prob. haha.

Yesterday was my first overnight digitizing session. Well, it was supposed to be an overnite thing.. but i finished up around midnite.. haha. took today off. took the opporunity to go get my flu cured. went to see a doc. got 2 days MC. now i'm wondering. should i turn up for work tml? i know there's like loads of work to be done... but i'm sick la.. how to call up sponsors coughing half the time? guess i'll continue transcribing the other 2 tapes and erm.. maybe write my log book too.. oh. the concept papers need to be finalised! I'm confused. Do i need to look for potential guests for that? if i do.. den i'm screwed.. that's a whole lot of research to be done!

Anyway.. i think i shall be good and turn up for work tml.. and when it reaches 630 i'll just leave.. claiming i'm on MC anyway.. haha..

Ok, its 555pm now. Finally got a day of leave from work! but still got calls from them. and emails. and now i have 5 mins before i leave the house to go back for production training. At least they provide dinner. That's nice.

Pingster said that's the life of a PA. haha. oh well. one of the fellow interns in the office is thinking of leaving, lecturers came down yesterday to have a meeting with his supervisors and bosses. think he's leaving next week. Guess he's gonna spend the rest of his internship in school doing some in-house stuff. Come on. is it that bad? and u noe wad... i kinda think i'm gonna have to take over him as PA. That means, more shoots, less sleep, less personal time. There goes my weekends, nights and jam sessions. HEy wait. I'm supposed to be editing right?

anw.. injured my leg.. stupid sia... if i didn't went to that field at fc 5 to play soccer right after my gems on friday.. and the stupid thing is i was on that field only for a few minutes.. but i stepped on the wrong place.. uneven ground.. so kana ankle.. thought it was a sprain.. yesterday went to see chinese sensei.. he said its a slight fracture.. er.. ok.. to think i still managed to walk about campus, go for band and supper till midnite.. that's like 8 hours of after the time of injury.. hahaha.. so now i'm stuck at home for the weekend left ankle bandaged with pieces of ginger to reduce swelling the guy said.. the swell definitely have gone down.. not so painful anymore.. but.. if still doesn't totally cure by monday.. i'm gonna have it checked by westernized doctors..

finished all my books.. damn.. need more books to read.. any recommendations? took up reading in the train this year.. figured that it'll keep me from missing my stop coz of sleep.. haha..

in jiu zhai paradise.. the best hotel i stayed in so far since.. day 1.. lets see took a plane down from singapore to cheng du.. den took a bus from there all the way to jiang you.. stayed there one night.. 2nd day.. coach got us to jiu zhai gou.. after going thru terrible terrain... the road was realli realli bumpy..for like 3 hrs.. took about 6 hours to reach.. ofcoz with breaks in btw and visits to some memorial halls.. libai memorial hall.. yah.. on the way had to piss in some extremely atrociously diry toilets.. along the way.. really.. after doing biz in there.. u will think singapore toilets are the best.. tourgroup mate even had to do her business in the behind a rock.. haha.. in the freezing temperatures.. with the cover of an umbrella only.. haha... yah..

reached jiu zhai.. stayed in one of the lousier hotels for a night..

lots of ppl behind me speaking in sichuan slang.. mandarin la. but i can't understand..

anw.. that hotel not bad.. at least got heater and stuff.. managed to sleep.. the beds here are all pretty hard lehz.. not used to it.. ya..

onli yesterday we managed to check in to jiu zhai paradise.. realli lives up to its name of paradise.. its.. fantastic la.. we have to drive up to this ulu place up in the hills.. and there it is.. 2000+m up.. even have this capsule like hot spring which source is from some natural spring.. can accomadate 7000 over ppl i heard.. goin there tonite..

i've never seen so many yaks in my life.. even got to eat it. and there's snow! haha.. we had to pass one hill on the way from jiu zhai to goddess lake.. that hill is 3064m up.. so there's snow.. yah.. hmm.. can't realli recap wad happened now la.. been too busy taking photos and video taping everything..

met some nice ppl in our tour group.. the tour guides rather nice as well... the fish available here is all fresh water fish.. realli alot of small bones everywhere.. but the flesh is realli tender.. ya..

jiu zhai gou itself.. wah.. fantastic. waterfalls.. giant multi-coloured lakes and live fish.. the weather.. u realli have to see it to believe it. much better than lake tahoe.. its realli good. recommend everyone to take a visit here..

erm.. goddess lake isn't that fantastic especially in the weather today when we visited.. rain.. oh man.

yaks are actually pretty cute.. haha..

PR/Advertising 2 days ago.. wednesday.. onli started studying on sunday.. and guess wad.. some of us didn't go for our last IPRA lecture where the lecturer gave out notes on wad to study.. well.. eh.. i managed to get the notes on wad to study.. but nobody told me that those notes weren't the ONLY notes we were supposed to study.. so like 5 mins before the test on wednesday.. someone showed me his notes.. and guess wad.. wad i studied was onli 71% of the paper.. so..er.. oh crap. oh well. classmates like me, got screwed too..haha.. so.. luckily i onli needed to get 30% of this final paper right to pass this module.. so i guess i'm safe.. haiz.. was aiming for an A or at least a B+.. now.. haha.. nvm. it's over.

so er.. econs revision lecture today.. at 9am.. msg-ed Hc in the morning asked her whether wanted to share cab.. wanted to sleep a little longer.. was up the previous night discovering when the poles of the earths magnetic field will flip over.. and when earth will become eroded and depleted, like mars, by solar wind and the Sun's energy.. could onli understand 50% of that documentary.. but.. it was interesting., actually.. more scary.. to realise that cancer on earth will affect the people much more easily.. when the earths magnetism changes.. when there are no longer 2 poles.. rather..4 -8 poles.. and magnetism will be veri veri weak.. so.. er.. ya.. wadeva.. bottom line is. had my reunion dinner at my couz house dis year.. went there.. watch a lot of tv.. haha.. we ta pao dere.. den forgot to collect the yu sheng.. or rather they forgot to give us.. so father called uncle to go get it on the way to my couz house.. so onli start like 8.. haha.. ok la.. got ang paos.. watched more tv.. talked a bit.. den go home liao..

CNY 1st day.. got up rather late.. bout 11.. pai nian to my parents.. get ang pao from them.. went to my aunt's place to pick her up.. den set off to my grand-uncle's place.. basically just talked to my grand uncle.. met a few distant cousins for the first time.. haha.. first week of the new year almost over.. and in 2 weeks time.. CA week.. that's fast.. i did something stupid this morning.. was so sleepy..even after 6 hours of sleep.. slept in the train.. listening to songs.. jay chou and mike buble mostly.. den slept.. woke up. yew tee already. still long. so sleep again. woke up bukit gombak. sleep again. BAD MOVE. woke up. saw the door closing at jurong east. so the train travelled back to bukit batok. i was already late.. so.. shit.. got down at bukit batok.. walked quickly out to the nearest road.. damn disorientated.. alien area.. got into a cab.. lucky me.. got to school.. cost bout $8.. shit..and i was 15 mins late.. crap. stepped into the lecture theatre. saw my friends on the right. missed a step. almost slipped down the flight of stairs.. but regained balance in time.. giggles from girls on my left.. 'haha'.. ignored them. got to the corner where my friends sat.. sat there. stoned for the rest of that lecture. got out for a snack. went for econs lecture. den lunch. spent like 20 mins finding a seat. den IPRA lecture. sat there for 1 hr realli doing nothing. just listen to the guy talk. den came home. slept. 2 hrs. got up at 6. started on work. till now. with a little half hour break in between for my dinner of left overs.. so that's my day. i've been on the com from 6 to 12. eyes tired sial.

so we went out yesterday.. with no idea wad to do wadsoeva. chiu, vian, chris, dice met me at yck mrt.. i was late right, i said yesterday. was caught up in the toilet. so the 5 of us went. to city hall. suntec. walked. kenny rogers. ate. left. i wasn't hungry at all. shared a chicken pot pie with chris. i ate too full a lunch la.

so we walked bout suntec after tt. did something stupid, was walking in tower records. toppled over a rack full of cds. piangz. like some stupid chain reaction like tt. one drop all drop. paisei. lucky the guys were there to help me arrange them back. haha. "highlight of the evening"

favian was tired, he slept for 3 hours, chiu hao didn't want to stay over at orchard also.. can see that benny was kinda pissed for being asked to come out so earli to do nothing, tried to make the best out of the situation , tried to stay happy. come man, it was new year's eve. but it was kinda true, we had no place to go, nothing to do, just waited for kok they all to meet us. called kevin as well. met up with the trackers after their gathering. walked round orchard road, they trying to spot potentinal girls, and be the first to say hi. haha. see alot of ppl getting sprayed, everywhere the same smell, felt better around orchard, more atmosphere i guess. but still we had nothing to do. just walking. rodney told me he wanted a smaller size for his jersey. it's too late to change now le. didn't tell me earlier. so they left at 11 +.. kok they all. so left with the initial 5 of us before kok they all came. dice was still with eunice's gang. den after getting a drink and watching 3 competitors fight sales of the spray cans thing for a while, chiu and favian went back too, so benny got louis out, me, chris ,them, got some tix for meet the fockers, kevin came too. so counted down at midnite. "HAPPY NEW YEAR!" that was all. tried to call lots of ppl, onli manage to get thru to most of them after midnite, i onli finished my calls around 12.30am.. so me,chris,kev,ben,louis sat at BK for a while, ordered some food. while waiting for the movie at 2.25am. the other side finishes their movie round 2+ .. so basically we slacked around cine-leisure from midnite all the way to 2.25am. watched the show. not veri funny. didn't realli laugh out loud, just snicker a little here and there. finished the show, 4 plus.. called lendl, dice phone was out. lendl's phone died too. so did mine. used benny's phone to call jeevan in the end. walked frm orchard all the way to esplanade. 30 mins i think.. blisters hurting..went to find them drinking at esplanade at some secluded areas. onli jeevan lendl and dice were there. so talked a little.. 6am. went home. slept in train. yck. took a cab home. slept till 3.

now i'm up.. later going with father to queensway to collect soccer jerseys. hey wads wrong with orange and black.. haha. total cost $456.

watched phantom of the opera yesterday... its a veri nice show.. veri veri nice. i guess it would b better in the theatres.. with a live band and all.. the soundtrack just rocks.. hats off to andrew lloyd webber.. i think that's how u spell it.. anyways.. i finally got to watch the show.. instead of just knowing how parts of its music goes.. without knowing the reason behind it.. the phantom is realli just a traumatised, desperate, music genius who has gone crazy... over the years.. yeah. that's wad i think he is..

went for match today. unfit. sick. stomach got prob. got flu. phlegm in my throat. DAmn sick. but i still wanted to play. i played like shit today. mainly bcoz i couldn't work with renkun la.. he damn pro. calm and composed. but he likes to play as a sweeper and me as a stopper.. abit weird.. nvr tried that b4.. with chongyu we play flat 4.. anyway.. my stomach was bothering me at half time.. so i decided to take a rest.. den on the 20+ min of second half i subbed john tan.. went in to cover right back again.. i totally suck at that position.. too slow to react.. can't read.. was not on top of my game today.. unfit la.. my throat veri dry like tt.. lots of phlegm and i feel veri er.. bloated? sick. anyway we didn't lose. we were winning 2-0 at half time. den when i came out. the got another 2 goals. and conceded one. den due to some stupid mistakes the other side managed to equalize.. i think so la.. wasn't realli concentrating on the match.. just felt sick.

basically that's it. we drew with them 5-5 in the end. i fell. bruised my left arm slightly. after the match sat around. bought drinks. got a cab back with benny. he was rushing to work.. he pay. so.haha. ate some leftovers . bathed. came here to type. it's been a long time since i did that.. bloggin i mean.

a little recap..

wednesday. didn't want to go school. went to get my hair cut. den came back. went to yishun in the mornin to get doc's Mc, went to cold storage. didn't get anything. came back. was already feeling quite sienz. later mindice ,eunice came to learn new songs for the countdown on x'mas eve. practiced a bit. benny came. drums was loud. finished pract rather late. tired. ate dinner at KFC. at first had a craving. den. horrible. it just sucked.

thursday. went to school. finished school at 2. hazry came to jam with us. reasonably good drummer. we played a few christmas songs. ran thru some old tunes. alvin came. he wasn't in good mood. something in school. but he learn his parts veri fast. finished playin everything. already round 10?1030? not sure. went to 925 to eat with eunice and dice.. ban mian stall. tried the fuzhou fishball noodles. not bad.

friday: x'mas eve. supposed to start school at 11 tt means i have to leave the house at 9.45 in order to make it there on time. went down stairs at 1015. decided i was going to be late.. so better take cab. waited. 15 mins. no cab. went home. skipped school in the end. it's just 1 hour of econs lecture. anyway spend my morning playing drums and going thru my songs. dey came earli. mindice and eunice. they did the powerpoints for the lyrics of the x'mas songs. we ran thru some parts. den i had to rush up and down. alvin came. me and him helped to arrange the chairs and stuff. den the rest came. all helped to carry the parts of the drum kit and amps and guitars down. went down. practiced a few songs. my guitar was a little outta tune.. didn't care. no time to. kick drum pedal just sucked. went upstairs with chiu hao to fix it for like 20 mins. came down. eat a little. den gotta a lot of ppl talking to me. so i was the MC. we started of by playing a few christmas songs. didn't play veri well. but i guess it was ok. den it was games.. by my mum. some memory game. den genieve my other MC gave a performance by herself.. some violin piece named 5th concerto or something.. den 2 other pieces with mindice accompanying her.. on the keyboard. den it was us again. performance. played 1 last christmas song. den starting with the pop songs and oldies.. i think ppl enjoyed that better than the christmas songs. we played better also. cept for the fact that my guitar was a little off tune. after many pieces.. tony and eddie came to perform on stage. we had to become a make shift band. yongsin my couz-in-law on bass.. albert on guitar with tony himself. and ofcoz.. me on the drums.. eddie. as himself. or rather.. elvis presley.. a veri old and wrinkled one suffering from spasms and retardation or soemthing.. but he sings well. entertaining.. damn funny. so after bout 45 mins of elvis and oldies. ( apache ). we got on to line dancing. didn't realli want to dance. but mindice eunice and benny was veri on.. so joined in. taught them. or rather helped my mum to teach a few dances.. simple ones.. like jingle bell rock.. electric slide.. cowboy cha cha and wild wild west.. or something like tt.. the rest slacked outside by the pool. nearing 12.. john shaun and alvin head home first.. didn't stay for the countdown. the rest did. chew yuen went off at 9+ i think.. felt bad not being able to entertain her.. but.. i was so busy! so everyone went home after a few performance by tony and eddie again. with yongsin again on the guitar. dis time with zhiliang on the drums. and me on the keys. had a hard time trying to play with them. coz i can't hear my self on the keys.. the speakers were too far away.. had to figure out the chord progression for all those songs like on the spot. some i couldn't catch. some i think i did ok.. haha. eunice mindice and chris stayed over. the rest went home. benny and the bullion gang went to orchard to do nothing. haha. smashed candy cane outside my house. benny. watched dodgeball. went to eat. watched a little of national treasure. slept.

x'mas day.. got up.. father decided to treat those that stayed over to lunch at safra restaurant.. so.. went there. ate. er. after tt wanted to play street soccer actually. but onli like 4 ppl free.. so decided to go to dice house to play pool.. coz yewtuck so hot play pool.. dunno why also. so went there. around 4+.. played 3 games. sang karaoke. auntie came to fetch me to OCC to meet my family for the penang buffet thing. $23 per person. the food is not up to standard. after actually going to penang and tasting the best of the best around.. the penang food fair is no longer appetising to me anymore.. we used to go there and find the food reasonably good. this time, my brother said.. he didn't even want to go for seconds.. so after tt went home.. got on the com.. talked on the phone. slept. had to prepare my self for today's match.

and finally.. events of today are all in the first few paragraphs... haha.. so i'm sick. and tml there is the stupid IDEAS presentation of the plasticine models and drawings. sienz. dun feel like going. later at nite supposed to go dinner near clarke quay with couzing siew hwee and yong sin.. see how.. might not feel like going. runny nose now...

wednesday going to get team kit.. finally.. pay for all first.. $28 per person.. so we have 14.. that's 28 x 14.. er.. bout $400? er.. ok la.. i might get 2 shirts. haha. different numbers. like favian. he took both 11 and 13.. i might take 22 and something else. or not. see my mood.

now watching some symphonic orchestra playing some pro piece. fascinating.

soccer was this morning. got up at 7. chris called at 7.15. favian was there already he said. so i bathed. changed. got ready. went out. raining. called benny. took a bus to his bus stop. wanted to get a cab coz it was damn late already. 7.50. waited veri long. some stupid cabs dun wanna stop. pretend nvr see. shit. some freakin ppl rush for the cab with me. shit. so took a bus. from there took another 812 to ah tong. still drizzling. went there. changed. warmed up. kicked abit. got wet. started match. sneezed. within 10 mins we were 3-0 up. before we noe it. at half time. we were i think 6-1 or something. can't rmb. den by the end of the match. we found ourselves winning 15-3. so kwa zhang rite. but realli lor. haha.out of that 3 goals conceded 2 were own goals. unpredictable and unsavable.. so.. we scored 17 goals. haha. i managed to get 1/4 goal. shared with alvin and 2 other guys. haha. ask me bout it. haha. so went to sakura after washing up at some tap. ate dry beef kway teow with a lot of chilli.. shiok. but abit too shiok. i cannot handle the chilli padi.. haha. ok la. i gtg.. my mother's pushing me to go and sleep coz there's sch tml.. duhz. its on li 11 lor. i have to get up at 7 onli..

quite satisfied with the way alvin played and the way mindice played their instrus today.. benny improving.. mayb tired from soccer. chris. got interest. kok didn't come. chiu tired. i lots my chords. neighbour came down. brought his friends. got 1 pro. realli pro. damn pro. electric guitar. play until i melt. i played drums for dem.. a bit borring kinda music for me.. but haha.. dey say i good so.. happy la. haha. got a gig in one weeks time and a week after. benny. convince me u can play on that day.. drummers interested invited to tag.. haha..

i realli hope the band works out. i mean. day and nite i think about it. i mean since i'm in one i should give my best and stuff right? at least do something during practices. ok la. today's jammin quite productive. cept tt the bass is not there. so had to sub with another guitar. shit la. where's my strap. 2 weeks liao. or more? den on the way back. zhiliang told me benny maybe cannot make it on 24th. i asked ben. he says can. i choose not to believe zhiliang. kok. come back and play if u can. 3 drummers better than 1. need to learn lots of stuff now. 11 songs. hope can make it. dun wanna spoil christmas. it IS gonna be christmas eve..

penang recharged me. i guess. more cheerful when i was there. no worries no stress no nothing. just eat and travel and sleep and watch tv the whole day. but i remembered when i was there, had this HUGE tendency to go jamming again. coz i wanted to show that we are better than those ppl playin in the hotel. and yeah, i think we are. but sometimes i feel that the onli person that realli wants to play in a band is me. show me u have that enthusiasm. it shouldn't be a chore. come on. its meant to be fun. the learning is enriching. the practices make u better. the playing is sensational. playing for a crowd, priceless. haha. come on. i noe u all have it in u. u got to let it out. enjoy. and can see alvin enjoying already. that's good. i can feel the commitment in him to learn, memorise and play. i noe u've got work. but this band is not the onli thing on my mind either. i've got other stuff to do to.

i guess i like wad i can get out of jamming. we amatuers showing wad we can do. create music. wad i realli like about it is when i just sing. sing out. its like shouting to an open sea. especially when u have to power over the rest of the instruments. it feels good just letting go. close my eyes and i feel it. who cares if i can't sing it well. i try. i listen. i listen to the other instruments. the rhythm. now, will someone pls lend me a bass guitar. the drum set's comin next week. borrowed ofcoz.

this morning reali nothing to do. so free and easy until almost bored.. supposed to go jet skiing.. brother couldn't get up. so. haha. at 11 we walked to the near buy place.. ate nasi padang.. i dunno wad u call it here la. same la. not bad.. the curry everythin veri nice. den walked back after getting some sugar cane juice and goreng pisang from across the road. den walked back. was discussing whether to go to prangin to get more stuff.. but in the end decided not to. so stayed in hotel. slack. watch black hawk down on cinemax. den stupid cable got problem. so came down here.. internet room in the hotel.. to use the internet lor. later going for dinner .. seafood.. maybe can detour into some night flea market or something. can get stuff for u all..

arghz.. i wanna go jamming. big tendency. and er. u know wad. our band is much better than the resident band here in this hotel. listened to them play few tunes. their wonderful tonight is just HORRIBLE. wrong chords wrong notes. can't sing. haiz.. at pragin yest there's this singer player the acoustic and singing at the mall.. horrible. can't strum. can't sing. i was saying to my brother maybe if we came here and started a music career we would be successful.. haha.. maybe ar.. next time. retirement plan. haha..

in penang now.. haha.. basically been eating and sleeping and sitting in this MPV since i got here.. at alot of stuff ar.. first day reach here den immediately went to eat char kway teow and ice kachang.. on the way still got eat stuff like ampong balik.. dunno how to spell la.. but is this banana kueh... singapore oso have.. but thsoe at the road sides here realli is nicer.. the peanut cake.. er. man cheng kueh also better.. crispier.. oh yeah.. that meal also ate laksa.. not bad.. realli miss the penang laksa over here.. actually i can't realli remember wad i ate in sequence.. becoz over this 2 days.. realli alot ar.. like eating trip.. and dis is better than malacca man.. cheaper. nicer. erm.. got the fried oyster oso. oh yah. yesterday's nite hokkien mee.. BEST! er.. not ur singapore dry fried hokkien mee.. is the equivalent to singapore's soup prawn mee.. onli nicer.. and include ingredients like pig intestines.. and the te kah also..wah pro.. the pig trotter in the prawn mee soup.. wah biang.. melt in the mouth lor.. steady..

dis morning.. got up went for breakfast.. i can't remember wad i ate actually.. but i know dat i had kway teow soup for lunch la.. coz got gastric yesterday nite.. so while the rest enjoyed penang laksa. i had to take dat. but nahz.. i dun care la.. the kway teow veri diff also.. so smooth and soft. hmm.. went for a tour round penang island.. visit water falls and stuff.. and still got the war museum.. we managed to have some snacks on the way back to the hotel for a rest.. went to this place near some where called the padang.. down there sells 2 things that u can't find in singapore.. i think its called che wu and de other one is the popiah.. che wu is something like indian rojak onli with a thicker sweeter nicer gravy.. fantastic.. the popiah.. nicer.. got a but of gravy.. i think is prawn stock or something.. damn shiok.. haha.. yeah.. after tt came back to hotel slept awhile.. watch cinemax den set off for dinner at 7+.. reached the destination at 8.. the BEST MEE SUA i ever eaten in the whole damn world.. the last time i had dat was 3 years ago.. same place.. standard dropped slightly.. but.. still nice la.. like sharkfin sial.. poor mans shark fins they call it.. for a party of 14 ppl.. we paid RM217.. that's reasonable man.. damn nice. so now my parents and the rest of them went to a bar.. la.. listen to music.. yah.. i gotta go liao.. see ya guys wed..

hmm.. today. mindice came. supposed to come at 8.30. but at 8.30 she msg me to bluff me she just got up. so i thought can sleep another hour or so. den at 9am received a call. she's outside my house liao! haha.. so.. she use com. after that did abit of keyboards thingy. den she want sch at around 1+. i went ZL place to jam with benny and alvin. no keys today veri weird. veri empty. i wanna effects pedal..

had runny nose today.. getting sick liao. late nites or should i say veri earli mornings nearli everyday. get up earli. so sick. got home bathed. sat on sofa watched simpsons. first time i watch simpsons until sleep. too tired liao. so manage to pull myself up to off the projector and sleep. until dinner. den dey called. went to buy present for chiu hao at causway point.the big big funny looking doll and a toilet bowl with a dancing piece of shit in it. haha. cost a total of $30 i think. den called him to come down to take. he was painting the house. no time to answer. so we sat at the interchange there eating bread from breadtalk and talking until someone decided to call him. manage to get him down. travelled to yishun. favian went back first. gave him the present. haha.. nice look on everyone's face. chris said, ur favourite.. haha. went home. bathed again. runny nose getting better. and now i'm blogging. haha.. tml moring have to set off for penang at 6.45.. taxi coming from malaysia to bring us to johor airport. air asia. den a 45 mins flight to penang. yea. food. realli miss the laksas and fried kway teow.. de road side chee cheong fun and de super nice mee sua.. couldn't forget the line dancing de previous time i was there. gosh. the horror. those horrendous line dances. 50 trying to at 15. omg. lucky for me. this time is with my family.. haha.. yeah.. hmm.. i've got nothing much else to say..

just came back from malacca yest. was so tired i slept after dinner until.. now... but i had my dinner at 8+ la.. slept around 10 i think.. no wait. i remember i watched shark tales first.. haha..

anw not much in malacca i guess.. i was there with another 2 families.. neighbours.. that family that we went to bintan with.. and the other neighbour. the family of the girl that played er hu and violin during the lantern festival.. genieve her name.. all we did there was eat and eat and shop and eat and eat somemore.. so.. pretty much an eating trip to the best eating places in melaka.. lets see.

first day we reached there bout lunch time.. so ate at this place restaurant called bibik neo.. paranakan food.. den went to plaza melaka raya.. bought dvds.. tried to find some games.. not in stock yet.. too earli. said had to wait till christmas.. ok lo.. i still got penang.. den after that i couldn't realli remember wad we did.. i remembered we took some time choosing the dvds.. and rushing back to our cars.. coz the time was up.. den.. oh.. we went to makota shopping centre.. or isit spelt mahkota? or makkotha? or makhota? or makotah? not impt... went there me father and stanley's family sat at coffee bean while the rest went to shop.. den after a while i went to look around the place.. too.. pretty boring.. typical shopping centre.. no bargaining . den on the way back we saw some massage thingy.. the thing that u step on and it shoots electricity up ur leg.. haha.. some of us went to try. and got shocked.. people set the thing to onli bout 10 or 20.. dey go set at 99.. haha.. siao.. anw after tt we wanted to try go cart.. went there.. started to rain.. de guy said cannot drive coz wet oily.. and his workers dun worker when it rains.. ok lor.. so we waited for the rain to get lighter den went back to hotel.. rest awhile.. bout an hour.. den went to go eat at this fantastic restaurant.. teo soon leng.. teochew food... supposed to be the best.. it was the best meal i had the last time i was there.. but this time i guess the standard dropped abit.. i think due to the crowd la.. too many ppl coming on a weekend.. might be due to the place being featured on one of the shows on tv also.. the one with mark lee i think.. i dunno.. i dun watch..
den after dinner we walked to the night market side.. smelled all the food at the road side stalls.. so nice.. i felt like eating.. but i was too full.. den like last time.. brought them to see the line dancing and karaoke groups.. the different dialect communities doing different things along that road.. then genieve made the metal name thing.. she made it into a bracelette cost RM11.. hmm.. after that.. we went to try the go cart thing again.. this time it was dry and ready.. haha.. got this 7 year old pro down there.. realli pro.. he made one round in less then 1 minute i think.. pro driver.. so we go lor.. not veri fun la.. coz too few people can go at one time.. then 1o mins.. i crashed into the side once while trying to turn at max speed.. haha.. lucky didn't over turn.. RM60 for 10 mins.. but they gave us more than 10 mins la.. RM 60 per person la.. so after that went back. watch rocket man movie on star movies. lame. sleep.

second day.. got up to go for breakfast at the hotel restaurant.. horrible food. tasteless and not appetizing at all.. ate a bit den went for archery.. jingwen tried.. i didn't see.. we were still upstairs.. den bertrand tried.. hmm.. no energy de.. nvr hit the target board at all.. the genieve tried.. she did it before so.. more pro.. but didn't hit the bullseye.. den my turn.. i tried.. first few shots almost flew either in the sand or behind.. den after that i got the hand of it.. shots got closer to the bullseye.. the instructor asked me whether it was my first time.. i said yes. he didn't believe.. he say most first timers not so pro.. haha.. ask me go train back home and go for tournament next year.. den he ask me how i know how to shoot. i saw watch movie lor.. robin hood.. lord of the rings.. den on my 12 shot.. got the bullseye.. got my name in the reviera hotel hall of fame.. haha.. no la.. dey just asked for my name and room number dunno for wad.. maybe some records ba.. after tt saw jingwen thrash everyone in table tennis.. she's just 11.. pro. smaller li jia wei.. den went for lunch at this place called auntie lee.. peranakan food again.. just that cheaper and better.. but damn difficult to find.. giant prawns.. huge fish.. not bad la.. after that went to makotah to look for stuff again.. clothes this time.. got this huge sale at parkson grand.. bought a few shirts.. and jeans.. so did the rest.. not bad la.. good prices den after 2 hours we went back.. bought a few durians from the road side.. saw some road side stalls.. abit unhygienic la.. use bare hands to fry the prata and roti john de.. hmm.. looks appetizing.. but.. didn't dare to buy.. den on the way back checked out auntie dorothy recommennded place for dinner.. called.. seafarer... ordered our food.. went back to the hotel.. ate the durians at the car park jinwen and her father went kayaking.. de rest of us went up stairs... i slept awhile.. watched wo cai wo cai wo cai cai cai... then we came out again.. saw people playing fire crackers and rockets.. heard rather.. hari raya mah.. so we went to eat dinner.. listen to the one man band playing.. coz this birthday man came up to sing a few songs from the beegees.. oh my god.. entertainment of the highest grade.. he sang his heart out.. trying his best to immitate the beegees.. onli to sound like william hung on helium.. im serious.. for half an hour.. den this guy came up to play afew blues and jazz tunes.. on his harmonica.. pro guy.. didn't realise u could do so much with a harmonica.. anw.. the dinner was priced ok.. RM 158 for 10 ppl.. cheap la.
went back to hotel.. wanted to go to the pub.. live band mah.. den they say children cannot go in.. den their parents also dun wanna go liao., like that onli my family and 2 other guys.. where got fun.. i'll be so bored. so ok lor.. went back room.. i played uno with jing wen.. genieve and bertrand joined us later.. played till rather late ar.. saw chelsea thrash fulham 4-1.. haha.. went back room.. tired. sleep.

last day .. got up.. got gastric.. food poisoning wad eva.. couldn't go out.. pain.. took a few pills.. rest in the hotel room while the rest went out for breakfast.. i had to eat at the hotel.. went down at 9.30 not much food left.. no diff i couldn't eat anything anw.. so had a bit of porridge.. went back waited for them to come back hotel.. den checked out.. took charcoal pill.. den got in the car.. headed back for singapore liao.. stopped by macs to get some lunch.. den headed all back.. jam at the causeway.. hmm.. didn't do much on the last huh.. anw.. got back.. benny called from dice house.. ask me to go.. cannot ar.. sick. ate dinner. watch shark tales. sleep.

today.. just got up at 11 plus.. now's 12.20.. later going soccer. i think. i'll go eat liao. hope tml jamming is successfull.. full strength..
