in jiu zhai paradise.. the best hotel i stayed in so far since.. day 1.. lets see took a plane down from singapore to cheng du.. den took a bus from there all the way to jiang you.. stayed there one night.. 2nd day.. coach got us to jiu zhai gou.. after going thru terrible terrain... the road was realli realli bumpy..for like 3 hrs.. took about 6 hours to reach.. ofcoz with breaks in btw and visits to some memorial halls.. libai memorial hall.. yah.. on the way had to piss in some extremely atrociously diry toilets.. along the way.. really.. after doing biz in there.. u will think singapore toilets are the best.. tourgroup mate even had to do her business in the behind a rock.. haha.. in the freezing temperatures.. with the cover of an umbrella only.. haha... yah..

reached jiu zhai.. stayed in one of the lousier hotels for a night..

lots of ppl behind me speaking in sichuan slang.. mandarin la. but i can't understand..

anw.. that hotel not bad.. at least got heater and stuff.. managed to sleep.. the beds here are all pretty hard lehz.. not used to it.. ya..

onli yesterday we managed to check in to jiu zhai paradise.. realli lives up to its name of paradise.. its.. fantastic la.. we have to drive up to this ulu place up in the hills.. and there it is.. 2000+m up.. even have this capsule like hot spring which source is from some natural spring.. can accomadate 7000 over ppl i heard.. goin there tonite..

i've never seen so many yaks in my life.. even got to eat it. and there's snow! haha.. we had to pass one hill on the way from jiu zhai to goddess lake.. that hill is 3064m up.. so there's snow.. yah.. hmm.. can't realli recap wad happened now la.. been too busy taking photos and video taping everything..

met some nice ppl in our tour group.. the tour guides rather nice as well... the fish available here is all fresh water fish.. realli alot of small bones everywhere.. but the flesh is realli tender.. ya..

jiu zhai gou itself.. wah.. fantastic. waterfalls.. giant multi-coloured lakes and live fish.. the weather.. u realli have to see it to believe it. much better than lake tahoe.. its realli good. recommend everyone to take a visit here..

erm.. goddess lake isn't that fantastic especially in the weather today when we visited.. rain.. oh man.

yaks are actually pretty cute.. haha..

oh yeah.. learned a sichuan slang.. sza cji te le.. or zha si te le.. or fried hitler transleted in chinese.. its a greeting of some kind.. means wish u longevity or something.. haha..

okok.. i have to go now.. update this thing when its available again.. internet access is pretty rare in the mountains.. haven't talked bout the tibetian culture over here.. oh well.. nvm.. next time.

off to china in 7 hrs time.. been to US, UK, australia,Thailand,malaysia,blah blah.. first time to china.. die.. chinese everywhere.. gonna be scary i think.. cultural shock..haha..

well er.. when i come back on the 25th.. its the beginning of the band camp.. till 28th.. gonna be freakin tired i think.. oh well..

gastric's still not totally cured.. hope everything goes well in those 10 days.. yeah.. dad says alot of chili stuff.. those si chuan ppl.. so er.. haha. brought non-spicy snacks to eat.. just in case.. yeah.

this time i'm gonna put my course skills to good use.. on a mission.. to record and do a video on jiu zhai gou or just si chuan in general.. yea.. brought my digi cam, digi camcorder, mp3 recording devices. hope nothing gets lost. haha.choy.

ok la.. gotta add more music into my zen before i go.. clear out the memory cards from my digicam, and charge camcorder's batt..

finally got some time to blog.. wanted to the other day.. but got fed up over my other com.. too slow.. so anw..

last week was study-week.. didn't study much... onli started friday.. haha. on econs.. paper is next week.. PR/Advertising 2 days ago.. wednesday.. onli started studying on sunday.. and guess wad.. some of us didn't go for our last IPRA lecture where the lecturer gave out notes on wad to study.. well.. eh.. i managed to get the notes on wad to study.. but nobody told me that those notes weren't the ONLY notes we were supposed to study.. so like 5 mins before the test on wednesday.. someone showed me his notes.. and guess wad.. wad i studied was onli 71% of the paper.. so..er.. oh crap. oh well. classmates like me, got screwed too..haha.. so.. luckily i onli needed to get 30% of this final paper right to pass this module.. so i guess i'm safe.. haiz.. was aiming for an A or at least a B+.. now.. haha.. nvm. it's over.

so er.. econs revision lecture today.. at 9am.. msg-ed Hc in the morning asked her whether wanted to share cab.. wanted to sleep a little longer.. was up the previous night discovering when the poles of the earths magnetic field will flip over.. and when earth will become eroded and depleted, like mars, by solar wind and the Sun's energy.. could onli understand 50% of that documentary.. but.. it was interesting., actually.. more scary.. to realise that cancer on earth will affect the people much more easily.. when the earths magnetism changes.. when there are no longer 2 poles.. rather..4 -8 poles.. and magnetism will be veri veri weak.. so.. er.. ya.. wadeva.. bottom line is. Our descendants will suffer in a few centuries from now.. argh.. heck.. i won't be around anyway.. unless i can live till like 800.. damn.. i'll be Yoda by then.. haha.

ok.. so after revision lecture went queensway a while.. update myself on the latests stuff.. intend to get somethings soon.. shoe's gona spoil soon anw.. initially wanted to go back ai.. but juliet says going back tml.. so decided to skip that and go home and slack..

4 days left to study for econs.. can make it i think.

so going for band tml..meetin sai, nigel and juliet for lunch first.. chiu comin later.. guess i'll study in the morning..

next week.. friday. 15 april flying to china till 25.. yea.. hols.. and i need a break la..

haha.. i onli agree partially.. it realli depends on the level of maturity of ur members.. right? and the experience.. u can't teach a sec sch band to play 'in-touch' with their feelings if they can't even sight read a piece properly or they don't even have the right embouchure.. all this technical basics should b taught in sec sch wad.. that's the BASIS of music maAn..

anw.. tt guy is one year older than me.. that means he graduated in 2004.. springfield.. dun think he ever felt that feeling of gettin a COP after all the hard work.. hmm.. shall do my research next time..
