One of those off days..

You can say today is sorta like housekeeping for me and my minidv tapes.. went through the whole library and label-ed and relabel-ed some stuffs.. had to play through all the tapes to make sure they weren't spoilt and they were named correctly.. manage to find bout 10-12 tapes that i can re use.. yeah. save money. 

I realised i haven't distributed the dvds for de avaganda percussian 2.. the sp band percussion concert back in 2005 i think.. oh man. that's like 3 years ago.. i think it's becoz I dun hav any of their contacts.. or i only have a few.. who have not replied.. hmm.. maybe outdated. hopefully they come and collect their dvds soon.. if anyone of u are reading this.. pls pass the msg on..

well watching thru all the tapes i managed to find another one of our treasures.. the Singapore Battle of the band tape that the denvil back then participated in.. i realised.. well erm. we sounded quite good.. got traits of a good band. good music. good sound. timo was a little rushed with his solo but it was still erm.. smokable. hanyuan's missing solo was  disappointing and anti-climax.. imagine 64 bars of just rhythm and drums.. i mean those 64 bars were damn solid.. but it sounds weird and empty without that guitar solo.. hahaha. trust the delay pedals to run out of battery. learnt our lesson well.. next time, use DC/AC adaptors.. i dun think i wanna comment much bout the singing. ok maybe just 3 words.. HORRIBLY OFF PITCH. 

i mean i thought we didn't get in becoz we weren't tight enough.. or bcoz of those little technical errors here and there. but after watching the vid today. i finally realised why we didn't get thru. oh manz. i'm really sorry to say this.. but it was really bad. oh well that was 2years ago.

to the rest of the band members.. Jam man. Jam.. and practice before that.

anyway.. Meeting up with the dmc peeps tml. yeah. finally. after sooo long. it's not where u go.. it's who turns up that counts. sadly haz is on duty tml... wonder who else will be coming. i dun think i have enuf chocs to go around.. oh yeah. saw the Lindt chocs at NTUC today.. selling at bout $4.20 a bar.. but only limited flavours.. i think that's the only difference la.. and the freshness also ofcoz.. was rather disappointed with the swensens icecream this afternoon. kept thinking of the cheap yet satisfying gelato back in europe.. and it cost onli Euro 80 cents for a huge scoop.. haiz. miss the weather, miss the food, most impt.. miss the life and relaxed mood with dice over there.. so nice to walk on the road at night.. shops closed.. but the air is nice and cool.. and then the smell of AUTHENTIC turkish kebabs just drift over.. 

talking bout kebabs. i tried a doner that dice's mum bought pack from pasar malam.. chicken doner. wah. no fight to the originals in europe man. the meat.. soggy. the vege.. stingy. and instead of yoghurt dressing it's the normal everyday mayonnaise.. what is this man. localisation? yeah i think so.. i prefer the original any day.. but den again, it's better than nothing.. 

oh. first time at a chinese HDB auction just now at yishun blk 451. noisy, crowded. food was so-so.. maybe it taste good at first coz I was rather hungry alr. dinner at 9+? ofcoz hungry la. at first i thought it was a good experience.. local, chinese, barbaric.. haha. but den it slowly became more irritating.. that guy on the mic. and the whistles.. and the shouting. barbaric? that's an understatement. dun think i ever wanna go to this kinda function again. i mean. unless i'm needed la. 

think i'll stop here today. can write for hours in the late hours of the night. wonder why.
